So, it&#8217;s no surprise that Panasonic has announced a television which will use a Google service that allows people to download and browse content from the Internet.   Companies have always tried very hard to get content from your computer to the television. <a href="http://www.businessweek.com/1996/13/b3468128.htm" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outbound/article/www.businessweek.com');" title="Gateway's TV-PC Attempt">Gateway&#8217;s attempt in the 90&#8217;s</a> proved extremely premature.   Now that there are a plethora of online video services like YouTube, this could be the time. Services such as <a href="http://www.hulu.com" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outbound/article/www.hulu.com');" title="Hulu">Hulu</a>, <a href="http://www.joost.com" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outbound/article/www.joost.com');" title="Joost">Joost</a> and <a href="http://www.fancast.com" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outbound/article/www.fancast.com');" title="Fancast">Fancast</a>, though, are what really make this idea compelling.</p>
